SUPERTONIC SCHOOL OF MUSIC

2026 STUDENT CONCERT

6pm May 16

👉 (Watch the video above, it says it all!)

This is Your Moment to Shine!

Whether you’ve just started or you’ve been playing for years, this concert is your chance to showcase what you’ve learned, feel proud of your growth, and share your music with friends and family in a kind, supportive environment.

Every student who performs will:

Boost confidence by standing on stage and playing what they’ve worked so hard to learn.
Connect practice to purpose. Having a performance deadline motivates focused practice and fast progress.
Build community. Celebrate alongside fellow students and feel part of something special.

Your friends and family will be there cheering you on and nothing feels better than cheers from those who support you.

Who Should Participate?

Everyone!

âś” Beginners who want a supportive first experience
âś” Intermediate players ready to take a step forward
âś” Advanced students who want to shine on stage

Every performance, no matter the level, is worth celebrating. Growth is more important than perfection.

Why Performing Matters

Performing isn’t just “fun”, it’s transformational:

It gives real-world performance experience in a friendly, encouraging space.
It builds resilience and confidence you can use in school, work, and life.
It strengthens friendships and community among students who share a love of music.
It makes memories you’ll look back on with pride.

Every step you take toward the stage is a victory — and we’re here to celebrate you.

What to Expect the Big Night

âś” A warm, supportive audience of friends and family
âś” A stage just for you and your music with pros handling all the details
âś” Encouraging applause from your instructors and fellow students
âś” A chance to experience the thrill of performing live

Even if you get nervous, that’s normal(99% of people are). We’ll show you how to turn those nerves into excitement and energy you can channel into your performance.

Criteria For Performing Includes...

  1. A positive attitude who works well with others
  2. Committed to playing in the concert and attending both rehearsals
  3. Committed to putting in your best effort

Notice it doesn’t say you have to be confident, experienced, or feel like you’re good. Most performers don’t sign up feeling confident, experienced, or that they will be good enough. It’s normal to have doubts, it is the those who overcome the doubts that get the most out of music!

Last year we had a student who started less than a month before registering for the concert. He did great. Like all of us he wasn’t someone who just picked up a guitar and could play. We gave him the support he needed and he had the attitude to do his best. He’s the kid rocking out with the orange guitar in the video below. 0:54 time mark. He and his whole family loved the experience!

Every song will be performed live with a full band; drums, bass, guitars, piano, vocals, and more. You’ll experience what it’s really like to play in a band, which is often more fun and less stressful than performing solo (unless you choose to go solo).

Parts such as rhythm guitar, lead guitar (solos), bass, piano, and vocals will be thoughtfully assigned by your instructors to help you shine.

All performers (except guitarists) will use the same stage equipment. This keeps the show running smoothly and ensures the best possible sound.

Registration is $197 and includes:
• Your performance entry
• Free admission for all family and friends
• Three guided rehearsals on April 25, May 9, May 14 (rehearsals will be at the school, not the venue)
• Professional photos of your amazing performance

Soundcheck at the venue begins at 5:00 PM (attendance required).
The concert starts at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 16 at Mockingbird Theater.

This is going to be an unforgettable night — we can’t wait to see you on stage.
